Discovery Trail Ribbon Cutting

To officially open the Discovery Trail, Foundation Board Members and the Foundation Upper School Student Representatives had the honor of participating in a ribbon cutting immediately before the running of the St. Croix Prep 2023 Marathon on Friday, April 28, 2023.

Our Senior Upper School Student Representatives, who will graduate in a little over a month, had the honor of wielding the giant scissors to officially open the Discovery Trail. Holding the scissors, from left to right, are Kate Neau, Anjou Thao, Vinnie Hajlo, and Jack Reedy (not pictured, Nicole Pepper). The Foundation is so appreciative of their efforts as they helped create the Upper School Student Representative program. Our new Upper School Representatives held the ceremonial ribbon for this special occasion.

The Discovery Trail was funded through the St. Croix Prep Foundation’s 2021 Give to the Max campaign and the St. Croix Prep 2022 Marathon. The Discovery Trail will be a resource for the entire St. Croix Prep community going forward. The St. Croix Prep 2023 Marathon was run on the Discovery Trail. The intention is to hold the St. Croix Prep Marathon on the Discovery Trail in future years.
