Ducklow Special Education Scholarship

Jessica Ducklow

Awarded by Heidi Johnson and ECMC Group to honor Jessica Ducklow and the St. Croix Prep special education team for seeing the potential in every student and making a positive impact on the lives of students they serve. The Jessica Ducklow scholarship fund was created to position St. Croix Prep special education students for post-secondary education success. Post-secondary education is a valuable resource for all students completing their high school career, but that doesn’t only mean a 4-year college degree. This scholarship will pay for any post-secondary education option that positions a student for a great career. This includes a traditional 4-year college, attending a bootcamp, gaining a technical certificate or diploma, or earning a 2-year associates degree.

This scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to up to two St. Croix Prep students per year with the following criteria:

  • Acceptance into a post-secondary education program

  • Participation in the Upper School special education program

Apply by April 15, 2023 via the Senior Google Classroom to be considered for this scholarship. Recipients will be notified no later than June 15, 2023.

Upper School Student Leadership Development

Upper School Gala Volunteers

Upper School students are welcome to volunteer with the St. Croix Prep Foundation. Foundation board members offer leadership development opportunities and coaching to our student representatives. Past representatives have developed marketing materials for Give to the Max, supported fundraising efforts for the Charting the Course Gala, and provided student input on Foundation priorities.
